Discord Server Tags, Explained
Every Discord community can hand its members a badge of one to four characters. TagSearcher indexes those badges so you can find the server behind any tag you have seen.

Built for finding tags
A directory of Discord server tags with the filters you would expect and nothing standing between you and the list.
Search across every tag
Look up a tag, a server name or a description in one field. Results come back ranked by relevance while you type.
Filter by tag length
Server tags run from one to four characters. Pick the length you care about and see only those - handy when you are hunting for a short, clean tag.
Sort the way you think
Most members, most visited, newest first, or best match. Every list on the site answers to the same four orders.
See the badge before you join
Each card previews the tag exactly as it will look next to your name, together with the server icon, banner and member count.
No account, no strings
Browsing needs no login and no Discord authorisation. Invite links are checked behind a captcha, so the directory cannot be scraped in bulk.
Kept current automatically
Background workers revisit every listed server on a schedule: member counts get refreshed and servers that dropped their tag leave the directory.
Three steps to a new server
No sign-up, no bot to install, no waiting for approval.
- 01
Search or browse
Type a tag you have seen on someone’s profile, or open the directory and scroll. Narrow it down by tag length or member count.
- 02
Check the card
Every listing shows the badge as it appears next to a username, plus the server icon, description and how many people are inside.
- 03
Join in one click
Hit join and you land on the invite. The redirect verifies the link first, so dead invites do not waste your time.
Running a server with a tag? Submit the invite and it joins the directory within a couple of days.

What is a Discord server tag?
A server tag is a short label a Discord community can hand to its members. Once you wear it, a small badge sits next to your username everywhere you post. Tags are one to four characters long, which is why short ones are fought over.
How is a server tag different from a clan tag or a guild tag?
They are three names for the same thing. Discord shipped the feature under the clan name, then renamed it, and the community still uses all three interchangeably.
Do I need an account to use TagSearcher?
No. There is no sign-up and no Discord authorisation step. Search, filters and listings are open to everyone; the only check you will meet is a captcha on the join redirect, which exists to stop bulk scraping of invite links.
How do I add my server?
Paste your invite link into the submit field on the home page. A background worker fetches the server, confirms it actually carries a tag, and adds it to the directory - usually within a couple of days.
How often is the directory updated?
Continuously. New submissions are processed on a schedule, and every listed server is revisited periodically to refresh member counts. Servers that removed their tag or let the invite expire are dropped automatically.
Is TagSearcher affiliated with Discord?
No. This is an independent directory built by the community. Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc., and nothing here is endorsed by them.
